a brief theory of becoming, pt 5
the world of experience is becoming flattened. it has been sapped, the weight from all things, leaving husks of meaningless iconography, sucking up all the mass into a gigantic mound; layer upon layer, body upon body, amassing such great density that it has become the zeitgeist, that any line of flight from its immense pull only has a chance of escape through a vector of paired resonance. release from the gravity well cannot occur alone.

?
the zeitgeist has a loud, churning sound of becoming which drowns out possibility of connection. this enframes all lives, pressing down, creating pressure on all individuals. a philosophy of reduction, removing from, taking away, stealing to build higher and higher and fill with more and more.
Judge Holden, collecting the plants, the animals, all things reduced to isolated -isms of termitic mounds, arbors of static permissive comprehension.
Whatever exists, he said. Whatever in creation exists without my knowledge exists without my consent.
He looked about at the dark forest in which they were bivouacked. He nodded toward the specimens he'd collected. These anonymous creatures, he said, may seem little or nothing in the world. Yet the smallest crumb can devour us. Any smallest thing beneath yon rock out of men's knowing. Only nature can enslave man and only when the existence of each last entity is routed out and made to stand naked before him will he be properly suzerain of the earth.
Judge Holden is that philosophy incarnate. a reducing engine, a proceduralized flattening of the world that has been in a consumptive churn throughout the ages. The Takers of Ishmael, identified through Socrates own technique. Christian scribes and monks in Ireland, writing the oral traditions, shared stories of meaning and resonance into mythology, flattened imps and faeries, shrinking the lay gods of the people, sapping their weight and filling an All God with their meaning, into a philosophy of the ideal, essential, the Socratic Good.
they all have the same project; Socrates, Christianity, Capitalism, Science. to take. to flatten. to reduce. to empty. to build a monument to entomb.
what am I saying, and what am I not saying?
I am saying that, taken to their limits, these philosophies are a path to the last man.
I am saying that these philosophies have been distorted from their original intent, and an exegesis would show that. there was one christ, and he died on the cross. ExeJesus.
I am saying that tools from these philosophies have been stolen and are used now to undermine a world of meaning and connection through selfish cretin capitalism.
I am saying that a materialist philosophy alone cannot provide a source of meaning, and turning all things into a science is yet another flattening.
I am not saying science is wrong. it's a tool; using the magnifying glass to observe has the potential to refract into a focused burn.
I am not saying materialism is wrong. I'm saying it's not enough to give the world meaning; it too, has its place.
I am saying that some things should not be written down.
some things should not flatten into symbols or signs.
things should not be totally understood.
it is not comfortable to become.
things should die to give potential back to the world.
some experiences should have framing; a vaulted structure to let be, a cairn for sound to echo and resonate, relieved from the compressive forces of the world. a gothic liminality, the edge space, turning the liquid flow of experience into a gaseous (ghastly) apparition; a wisp o' the will.
upon the flux of life reaching its peak compression the framing can withstand, the spiral of life compressed by all forces, I die. my mass is ejected in all directions. the I that was formed, crafted by the millions upon millions of assemblages of the body, managed by the authoritarian "I", all gone. but a wisp o' the will remains in free fall. the intentionality of the personal universe left as a massless husk; the conceptual self left in the sea of forces, massless now within the layered mass of geist; a vector of intention passing through; the haunting of becoming no more. that is the wisp o' the will. the transcendence of becoming.
this is why being "open" to experience is important. openness is a result of enframing. an openness is giving space; sounding opens up to experience.
what enframing can there be?
enframing is a tool.
a house is enframed by its structural supports.
a body is enframed by its skeletal structure.
a nostril temporarily enframed open by forceps.
proponents of psychedelic drugs enframe by crafting a set and setting for the experience of another.
a cathedral is specifically enframed for bodily vibration to induce a feeling of resonance to impute meaning from Christianity.
Edgar Allan Poe enframed his narrations with lofty vaulted words and spacious hauntingly empty, eerie environments.
a debate of "free will or determinism" is a narrowed enframing, one which is an experiential stricture reducing possibility to a dialectic either/or, whose reduced perspective can only synthesize, where we want to evaporate.
the "Overton Window" is an example of political enframing; all possible political options are narrowed, limited, and a glitch like Bernie Sanders sounds the window of possibility open.
enframing is a structural crafting of an environment. a framing of low ceilings and narrow chambers gives a feeling of compression, enclosure, limiting. vaulted ribbing, buttresses, arches, and high open spaces give possibility, time, awareness and availability.
by giving space, we allow spirit to pass through. by enframing the zeitgeist, we create both a distance and a space to pass through as a ghost- an apparition avoidant of capture.

?
Heidegger created the term. Gestell, enframing, is an ontological framework. all that comes into presence in the world has been enframed, unveiled, ordered into itself by this mode of thought. our current Gestell, is one which an unveiling leaves the essence of the thing in standing-reserve, or as a perceived essence in reference to that framing. a river in standing-reserve to the enframing of a dam is perceived as an energy source. cows, enframed by farms, are milk fountains. milk, enframed by capital, is protein source.
enframing gets buried under the layers of geist as it buries past enframings, and so on. by enframing totally under capital, we are flattened into standing-reserve, sources of labor to turn the gears of capital, reduced to the referential of our enframed position.
the only way out is out. an apogee momentalis.
the problem with communism is an attempt to call all labor under one song, to match resonance by enframing the self under socioeconomic collectivism. this is a sarcophagus over experience, limiting to standing-reserve of labor as if it were the only division from the reductionist perspective. enframing through communism has doomed to fail, mirrored by the total meltdown of Chernobyl in 1986. its sarcophagus remains, converting enframing of communism into its entombment. No grand noise will create universal resonance, and that's the root of the downfall of communism. no commonzeal can translate to all enframed.
the problem with capitalism is an attempt to enframe under socioeconomic individualism. the enclosed individual generating their own prosperity reverberated and resonated within the visible American monoculture for a short period of time. but the inherent isolationism eliminated the sound. a meaningful resonance was never a possibility. capitalism in its analog era broke down even before communism; Three Mile Island was a partial meltdown in 1979, a rupture, and capitalism changed its enframing at that point, trending toward a cybernetic digitization of the analog as an escape route. go ahead and picture the film The Matrix; it was timely because it was accurately describing the zeitgeist, not the future. we were already enframed in the extraction chamber.
the cybernetic age was a dialectic of digital and analog. this enframing has also ruptured. Fukushima, 2011. total meltdown. the enframing of capital in a digital-analog coexistence has fully flattened into a tokenized technofeudal era under which we are now framed, totally epitomized by the development of ImageNet in 2012 and its deep learning crowdsource annotated image data set; we were the mechanical turks for the Facebooks and Googles and Amazons to develop their tools of flattening images into objectified language. the invention of the transformer has done something monumental; it became a tool to flatten all experience, not simply analog, but vision, sound, touch, consciousness into probabilistic flattening of tokenized existence. total utilization of world inputs, categorized into linearity, matrices upon matrices of two dimensional linear transformations.
another meltdown will occur. a missingno glitch will leak from the immense pressure of total utilized flattening. at the apogee momentalis, the framing will too entomb itself and the lullaby of comfort capital has swept all under will disharmonize into decay. the shadow of the structural capital of the geist we will no longer tread asunder, and the dark eerie space of gothic enframed abyss, of all possibility, will ominously peering back, awaiting a ghastly becoming. that becoming will be useless; its purpose is not to build upward, higher, toward a goal, but outward, sometimes together, grouped in shifting occasions of resonance and dissonance, but smaller, nomadic and anarchic, sharing meaning and separating. joining and flowing in assembly, but no authoritation "I" conjoining the many assemblages into an vertical geist of "I". always outward, moments of meaning and synchronicity, then release, allowing having-been to be, occasionally haunted by the hauntological could-have-been.
why I are so stupid, or becoming useless
there is an eerieness in this, a fore-shadowing. there will be nihilism. there will be purposelessness. there will be solitude. edge-treading, surfing the liminal states, the discomforting transitory barriers; we may connect, we may continue outward, but not in an acid communism but in acoustic saprotrophic mycelial anarchosyndicalism, or mycorrhizal harmonicity. like the rhizome, the mycelia requires a constant affirmative, but an echoed resonance with the attuned others to move outward together. without that, difference takes precedence and separation from the mycelial body is necessary. a saprotrophic partial digestion of enframing objectifications, the rigid arborescent structures dissolve to be reformed anew. electrical potential forming in the darkest hour to launch concepts of becoming outward in acoustic reverberation throughout mycelial bodies in transcendental understanding. enframings are to be partially dissolved, partially understood, allowing a syncretic stupidity rather than total comprehension to transmit partially digested concepts that resonate with meaning, expanding connection, sounding through and throughout, constantly changing and developing the set and setting framing the moments of connection, for connection, in exactly the same harmonious flow of the body. thus, becoming the ubermensch was never the vertical peak of man, but the furthest expansive differences of all disparate connective becomings.
